Jen & John's Pet Services provides overnight in-home pet sitting from our home base in Bruceton Mills, West Virginia. We travel up to 50 miles in any direction, which covers:

How the zones work

Every town below sits in a travel zone based on its one way distance from Bruceton Mills. The zone changes one thing only: the meet & greet fee before your first stay.

Your nightly rate is the same in every zone.

  • Zone 1 0 to 19 miles: free meet & greet
  • Zone 2 20 to 29 miles: flat $75 meet & greet
  • Zone 3 30 to 49 miles: $75 plus $1.25 per round trip mile beyond 58, capped at $110
  • Beyond 50 miles: a virtual meet & greet instead

Rather skip the drive? A phone or video meet & greet is always free, in every zone.

A town can stretch several miles, so these zones are a close guide, not a quote. Once we have your address we measure the actual drive and confirm your meet & greet fee before anything is booked. No surprises either way.

† Sits just inside a zone line, so we list it in the higher zone. If your address measures closer, the lower fee applies.

Why there's a meet & greet fee

Before you book or before the first stay, we travel to you so we can meet each other and your animals in your own home. The fee simply covers that trip and all it entails: gas, wear on our vehicle, the round trip time, and the visit itself.

It's charged once, and it's separate from your nightly rate.

What the visit looks like

  • Your animals meet us in their own space, which helps them settle faster on night one.
  • You show us around: the food, the leashes, the routine, where we will sleep.
  • It takes as long as it needs. Ten minutes or an hour, the fee is the same, since we don't bill by the minute.
